Project Description
- News and the beginning of a calamity often has an interspersed time lag. We decided to build an application that would give the power to the localites. Thus their tweets would show up for everyone in the geolocation.
- Thorough analysis of the Google “PageRank” Algorithm we decided to modify it and use it as a ranking system to reach our goal.
- We implemented this algorithm to calculate the relational significance and rank tweets in any given geolocation. The project presentation linked above graphically demonstrates the results and it's significance.
